Even worse, it doesnt even appear to be out next Saturday either!
My vote goes for one of the two following options:1) GW has finally realised the only way to shift White Dwarf is to make it the only place to get the rules.2) GW is continuing it's odd idea that people will buy models based solely on how they lool and not how they work as part of a force/codex.I still find it weird that I have to wait until well after the WD hits to see the model in a store to even work out if it's better than the photos online. So many have been far better higher quality than the promo material suggests.
1) was my guess too. but surely you then risk the twofold problem of still not shifting many copies of your below-par rag and also failing to shift as many of the flashy new kit as you expected.
'Based solely on how they look'But its looks awful :/For an extra £5 you could get a stompa, turn it on its side, saw it down about 4/5 inches, put the feet back on and have a decent looking model. Its clearly the same guy/s who designed the termy tubbiesRant over ;)
I'm just glade to have a new model. It seems like a year or so since a ork model was released I. To the wild to fall apart on a d6 roll(that being the Trulk). No Forgeworld love for even longer.
My god, doesnt even look likes its going to be next week either.
It;s almost as if they don't want you to see it until AFTER your've shelled out for the new models! I have to say I'm shocked and disappointed at the price of the new support weapons. They are certainly big and impressive but they didn't need to be and £28 each for models that come in around 18-40 points a pop just feels like either the writers or the designers missed the point of the model.
Good job I already have nearly 9 artillery guns plus pulsa rockets for lobbas. The rules for tractor Cannons are mental.
