My new list ideas

Played a game with Tom using the new marine book. He has a battle report coming. I did take pictures. :0)


Played the version 1 list, things didn't go well. Version 2 has yet to be play tested. What do peeps think? Any other suggestions?

  1. I like your first list a lot more but I'd be inclined to drop the Tac sqd and use the points to get a unit or two that fill the gaps in your army. Also not really sure what the Techmarine adds as it seems rather expensive for a one wound model with a powerfist. For 245 points you can get quite a lot from that codex. Vindicators are pretty good at clearing out a lot of problem units. Have you thought of takng a few Gravguns? Yu lose 6" over the Plasma but gain two shots and rate of fire is important with a small army.

  2. im with dave on this one. the tac squad as it stands feels out of place to me.
    Dropping it and the techmarine gives you 245?
    How about 2 5 man tac squads with a special or heavy weapon in razorbacks?
    Not only does it fit in with the mobile feel of the list, but it gives you 2 objective grabbers with a fair amount of fire output (depending on which flavour razorback)
